Once again, the sun is setting on another year of weddings in Northwest Indiana, Chicago and southwest Michigan. Let’s walk through the year together.
As usual, it isn’t easy choosing which images to showcase for this Year In Review of wedding photography. I decided to post two images per wedding, mostly portraits of the couples. I did make a few exceptions and showed pictures from other parts of the day.

The year started with a Chicago wedding where we cruised the entire city by car, getting out for portraits in various areas.
2025 saw me back at The Grand in Crown Point, Indiana (images above), and I also got to photograph at the new Journeyman in Valparaiso, Indiana.
Allure On The Lake is certainly one of the most popular wedding venues in Northwest Indiana. Located in Chesteron, Indiana, it offers proximity to The Indiana Dunes for epic beach wedding photos.

It was a hot one in August for a summer wedding at White Oak Farm Venue with an outdoor ceremony.
Whispering Oaks is undoubtedly a hidden gem of a wedding venue, located on farmland in Demotte, Indiana.

As we close the chapter on 2025, I’m incredibly grateful for every couple who trusted us to document one of the most meaningful days of their lives. From intimate celebrations to packed dance floors, and from Northwest Indiana to the Chicago area and Southwest Michigan, this year was filled with genuine emotion, beautiful light, and unforgettable moments.
These weddings reminded us why I love what I do—telling honest love stories through photography and video that feel timeless, personal, and real. Here’s to another year of love, laughter, and moments worth remembering.
