It was a beautiful August day for Christina and Nick’s wedding day at Idlewild Country Club with a Catholic church ceremony at St. Veronica’s Parish in Flossmoor, Illinois—a perfect blend of sacred tradition and scenic charm.
The day started with me being warmly greeted by Christina’s Dad at their home. After learning about their storied “self-playing grand piano”, I began bridal prep photos in their lovely home before we trekked off to the church for this Illinois couple’s wedding ceremony just south of Chicago.
Mother of the bride, Sharon, even showed me her wedding album, and we re-created one of her wedding photos for her daughter.
A big thank you to Andrea and Parian, the dynamic duo of the wedding planning team Ginger Peach for all of their help coordinating a busy day for all.

Courtney took photographs of the groomsmen at Idlewild Country Club as they prepped for the big day. We all then met up at the church as friends and family filled the pews.

St. Veronica’s Parish is situated within a neighborhood in Flossmoor, Illinois, located just south of Chicago. Their balcony gives one a terrific view of the bride’s entrance, and Christinia’s dress certainly shone as she walked in on her Dad’s arm.

The reception took place in the ballroom at Idlewild Country Club, overlooking the golf course. After the playful cake cutting and heartfelt and emotional speeches, the dancing began.
