Getting Ready
I met Rebecca, her daughter, and her MOH at Chop Shop in Schererville, Indiana, for bridal prep before moving to the Meyer’s Castle, on-site bridal suite.
The second photographer, Wendy was with the guys at the couple’s home for groom prep.
We all then came together for the romantic first look underneath the archway at the famed castle.

First Look at Meyer’s Castle
The first look between the bride and groom at Meyer’s Castle was magical. Tucked away in the ivy-covered gardens with the castle’s stone facade in the background, the groom turned to see his bride for the first time — and the emotion on his face said it all. The moment felt like it stood still as they took in each other, and the groom read his card. With the castle’s timeless architecture and lush June greenery surrounding them, it was a deeply intimate and cinematic moment — a perfect start to a day full of love and celebration.

Wedding Portrait At Meyer’s Castle
After their emotional first look, we wandered the grounds of Meyer’s Castle for bride and groom portraits, taking full advantage of the venue’s romantic charm. The winding stone paths, towering trees, and ivy-covered walls created a storybook backdrop that felt both regal and secluded.
Stealing kisses under archways and sharing quiet moments near the castle’s wrought-iron gates are all on display. Every corner of the property offered a new opportunity to capture their connection — dramatic, romantic, and timeless.
Wedding Ceremony At Meyer’s Castle
The wedding ceremony beneath the gazebo at Meyer’s Castle was very dreamlike, with a roaming peacock walking out to greet the bride.
Nestled in the lush, manicured gardens, the gazebo offered an intimate and picturesque setting framed by towering trees and summer greenery. As the bride walked down the stone path, the soft sound of music and the rustle of leaves set a peaceful tone.
The couple exchanged vows under the delicate white structure, surrounded by family, friends, and the quiet charm of nature. With sunlight filtering through the trees and the castle just beyond view, it was a serene and romantic moment.
