Springtime finally came to the suburbs of Chicago for Kayla and Joe’s wedding at Thornton Distilling. The historic distillery has spacious suites for getting ready, and the wedding day started there before the anticipated first look with Unveiled Weddings and Slay All Day MUA handling beauty.

First Look
Kayla and Joe decided to have a first look at the excitement that it provides and to allow them to not rush after their ceremony and enjoy their time with friends and family.
Members of the wedding party cheered them on as Kayla made her way around the loft to greet Joe.
Portraits
Thornton Distillery is such a unique wedding venue that indoor photos are definitely on the agenda but the wonderful temperatures gave us a chance to step into the courtyard for some as well.
Ceremony
The ceremony took place in the rustic main room with friends and family in attendance. Kayla’s mom attended in spirit in the front row as her Dad walked her down the aisle.
Reception
The reception was a dance party all of the way with K from Trans Audio as MC. Desserts were plentiful and delicious and the bride and groom even had their own signature drinks.
