Sometimes, the weather gods will gift you a perfect day at Indiana Dunes National Park. With temperatures in the 70s and clear skies for a perfect sunset, Matt and Katie’s engagement session was poised to be epic.
We met at Portage Lakefront and River Walk and started taking pictures just before the start of golden hour. The idea was to shoot some beach scenes and end with sunset photos.

By starting our session about an hour before sunset, we achieved a soft, golden glow in most of the photos. The couple plans on using these on Save the Date cards, which will not only give the guests of their wedding an opportunity to mark the big day on their calendars but also hopefully warm their hearts as they display the images in their homes.
