I have had many out-of-state clients having their weddings here in the Midwest lately, and I can now add Andrew and Taylor to that list. They flew in from Austin, Texas, to get married in the bride’s hometown.
The beautiful summer wedding featured an outdoor ceremony at Briar Ridge Country Club in Schererville, Indiana.

Our day began at the bride’s parent’s home for bridal prep and a first look. We also took portraits around the house before traveling to the nearby Briar Ridge Golf Course for wedding photos all over the scenic property.

I took solo bridal portraits of Taylor inside the very room that she grew up in as well as outside.

Taylor and Andrew chose to have a first look, which enabled them to really enjoy their wedding day without having to breathlessly cram in so many photos after their ceremony.
It was a sweet moment when Taylor emerged from her childhood home to greet her future husband.

It was a bright and sunny day for a golf course wedding at Briar Ridge Golf Course. A mobile bar was on hand for replenishment, and romantic music filled the air as guests watched the happy couple tie the knot.

Another dip occurred during golden hour wedding photos before the party kicked off inside the ballroom. Taylor had changed into her reception dress, and the newlyweds celebrated with a drink.
The reception saw a packed dance floor all night and was decorated exquisitely with elegance and style. The speeches were brief, funny and heartfelt.
