As a wedding photographer who has only photographed straight couples, I've pondered how to market my services to the gay community. I have no images of civil unions or gay and lesbian engagement sessions. I am not gay myself.
It then occurred to me that I do not need a "same sex wedding package" as there is no difference in the love of any couple that is bonding together. I have photographed traditional weddings in the strictest of churches as well as ceremonies in offbeat locations. I have witnessed couples who have said "I do" and others who have said "yep, let's do this". Every wedding is unique.
