Demi and Matt were married in downtown Chicago last summer. I had been wanting to showcase their wedding here since then but it was one of the most incredibly busy times I’ve had as a Chicago and Northwest Indiana wedding photographer.
Of course, they have been enjoying their wedding photos since that time, but now all of you get a glimpse at their Chicago wedding.

Before their Catholic Church wedding ceremony, Demi and her Dad has a first look outside. It was an emotional moment and was an honor to capture. Afterward they read letters each had written to one another as mom looked on.
The ceremony saw our happy couple in great spirits on the alter listening to the homily. The exit saw the wedding party cheering them on as they made their way toward the limousine that would take them to the River North neighborhood for wedding photos in downtown Chicago.
We decided to take advantage of the hustle and bustle of the city as we marched the wedding party down Clark Avenue toward the Chicago River. Plenty of horns were honking and spirits were high.

The wedding reception took place at Maggiano's Banquets in the River North area of downtown Chicago.
The mariachi band serenaded the newly married couple as well as special guests such as the bride’s grandmother. The speeches were more like roasts and a good time was had by all - on and off the dance floor.
Oh, and desserts were delicious as well!!
