Northwest Indiana Wedding Venues
After photographing hundreds of weddings in Northwest Indiana, Chicago, and Michigan chances are good that I have worked in your chosen venue before and with some of the best wedding vendors (be sure to scroll down for my recommended list). County Line Orchard
This popular barn wedding venue in Hobart, Indiana has become an iconic destination for couples seeking a rustic look for their big day. You can choose an indoor ceremony in a couple of different barn rooms or have guests escorted via tractor to the outdoor orchard area where a cool lemonade stand awaits.
Aberdeen Manor
This luxurious reception venue and wedding chapel in Valparaiso, Indiana has a wonderfully fun vibe and out-of-this-world decorations. Early evening outdoor ceremonies are available as well as inside the chapel.
The Pavilion At Sandy Pines
The premiere "open-air" wedding venue is located in Demotte, Indiana. The enormous bridal suite is in a fantastic two-story building adjacent to the ceremony/reception area. The dining and dancing room has a roof, but the sides are open making it perfect for Spring, Summer, and Fall. Side panels can be lowered to prevent rain, wind, and cool temperatures.
Lighthouse Restaurant
Located right on Cedar Lake and with its docking pier, this classy wedding venue is perfect for outdoor ceremonies inside the covered gazebo or out on the back deck. It’s the perfect location for sunset photos as well.
Sand Creek Country Club
Another golf course wedding venue, Sand Creek is located in Chesterton, Indiana, and offers incredible scenery. The bridal suite is nice and spacious and can accommodate several makeup artists and stylists.
Briar Ridge Country Club
An all-in-one wedding venue in the Schererville / Dyer Indiana area sports an expansive golf course setting for ceremonies and wedding photos, a luxurious ballroom, and a newly remodeled bridal suite. Arrive in the morning, and leave at midnight.
The Allure On The Lake
This lovely ballroom is located in Chesterton, Indiana. It has a spacious outdoor deck that overlooks the large lake with an indoor and outdoor area for ceremonies. The bridal suite is it’s own building directly across from the main rooms.
Four Corners Winery
Located on farmland in Valparaiso, Indiana this rustic venue sports an open-air reception building and lots of outdoor ceremony space. Sometimes dancing takes place inside, but sometimes outside as well. There are several “pop-up bars” on the property as well.
Uptown Center
This spectacular ballroom in Michigan City is famous for its large, multi-colored PVC piping that towers over the stage facing the dance floor. It also has a picturesque bridal suite and the surrounding outside has unique textures for unique wedding photos.
Friendship Botanical Garden
Friendship Botanical Garden is a gorgeous wedding venue hidden away in Michigan City, Indiana. It’s perfect for outdoor weddings, stopping by for pictures after a Blue Chip Casino ceremony, and even houses a covered area for an open-air reception. In case of bad weather, a covered shelter is available for ceremonies.
The Grand CP
In the heart of downtown Crown Point, this timeless wedding venue is inside The Grand Old Lady (aka the old Courthouse). It has a bridal suite, a Maki ballroom for receptions, and the old courtroom as its ceremony site.
White Hawk Country Club
Located just down the road from my office, this Crown Point golf course wedding venue offers a beautiful outdoor ceremony setting and many photo opportunities all around the golf course. The new bridal suite is spacious, and the reception room has a lovely outdoor deck and a golf course view.
Journeyman Distillery
A wonderful rustic venue in Three Oaks, Michigan, and Valparaiso, Indiana has much to offer - the large Warren Hall for ceremonies and receptions, a bridal suite, an outdoor ceremony area, a golfing area, and an outdoor patio for guests, lodging, and a smaller reception room. It’s a very authentic Americana vibe with unique backdrops for photos.
White Oak Farm Venue
This rural oasis is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Northwest Indiana and is in close enough proximity for Chicago and Michigan wedding clients as well. It has very modern amenities and is very clean yet has that heartland, farm field to it. An outdoor ceremony by the lake is divine and the reception barns are state of the art with a rustic charm.
Meyer’s Castle
This historic wedding venue was built in the late 1920’s and is one of the most lavish and largest mansions in the Chicago area. This is a one stop, all in one wedding venue with a bridal suite, cocktail lounge, outdoor and indoor ceremony areas and a couple of large reception rooms as well.
Circa 1856
This rustic barn venue in Laporte, Indiana features an open-air pavilion with a natural stone fireplace surrounding a deck overlooking the pond & fountain.
Unfortunately, showcasing all the venues, I have photographed would require more space than I have here. I always encourage new clients to meet in person to see a complete wedding from start to finish. Chances are good that I’ve worked at your venue.
