September Wedding At Centennial Park

Jordan and Matthew’s September wedding at Centennial Park had so many happy tears on and off through the day and it seemed as though the weather mimicked those with off and on rain. Our day started at the nearby Marriott Hotel with Emily Dupre as MUA and CJ Warren on hair. Flowers for the day came courtesy of Sugarfield Flowers.

Letter reading and gift openings were happening every hour on the bride’s side as well as the groom’s side. Our first set of tears began in the morning and continued through the outdoor ceremony.

Jordan had a first look with her Dad inside the bridal suite at Centennial Park before the ceremony. More happy tears courtesy of Dad and a warm embrace for the wonderful gift from his daughter.

At ceremony time the weather had cleared and we were on for our outdoor nuptials on the terrace overlooking the lake. By the end of the ceremony rain was back on but off again soon after for portraits of the bride and groom as we made our way around the park.

After family photos Jordan and Matthew made their way around the park with me as second photographer Bridget photographed cocktail hour.

After dinner and just before first dances began, Jordan and Matthew went outside with me for some quiet time and a romantic blue hour photo underneath the street lamp on the Centennial Park patio.

The Centennial Park clubhouse looked regal with Ever After Events draping and lighting. They also provided the sounds for the evening with 27 Entertainment doing video for the day.

Summer Wedding At Four Corners Winery

Holly and Ethan had a wonderful day for their summer wedding at Four Corners Winery in Valparaiso, Indiana. As you will see from the photos here, Four Corners Winery is an expansive open air venue that can host your outdoor or indoor wedding ceremony and reception.

Our day started with me covering bridal prep and second photographer Lauren capturing the groomsmen’s NFL Fantasy League draft at a nearby hotel.

We had a private first look of the bride and groom on the property at Four Corners winery and then started pictures before all of the guests arrived for the outdoor ceremony.

We then invited the wedding party to join us and utilized some of the farm equipment as props. Guests were arriving and soon it would be time for the ceremony overlooking the orchards.

There were lots of cute little kids mingling with the big kids before and after the outdoor ceremony which saw Holly’s Dad walk her down the aisle as friends and family looked on.

For wedding receptions, Four Corners Winery has a covered open air structure for dinner and dancing. However, weather was great so dancing took place outside along with games as well as a dessert bar area. And yes, that is a red rooster you see following around our newlyweds!!

Summer Wedding at Lighthouse Restaurant

We had quite the sun filled skies for Jackie and Kevin’s summer wedding at Lighthouse Restaurant in Cedar Lake, Indiana. We also had many unique moments with a celebration that day of the bride’s parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary and also Jackie arriving to her ceremony via boat.

Let’s begin at her parent’s house for bridal prep and an impromptu dance rehearsal from her mom and Dad while Alex Garcia handled make up duties along with Lerin Johnson Bridal Beauty.

John and Kathy have a beautifully landscaped area behind their home where we did some bridesmaids photos along with a portrait of this 50th Anniversary couple.

While I was on my way to the boating dock to capture Jackie’s boarding of the boat that would take across Cedar Lake to the ceremony, second photographer Bridget was taking Kevin and the guys pictures nearby.

Jackie met up with her crew that would take across the lake to Lighthouse Restaurant where Kevin and friends and family would be waiting on the deck. Her walking down the aisle consisted of coming down the long pier and eventually up the stairs where she married Kevin while overlooking the lake.

After family photos on the outdoor deck, we strolled the nearby lakefront taking romantic summer wedding photos of the bride and groom.

The wedding reception saw two cake cutting and two first dances as Jackie and Kevin and the bride’s parent’s John and Kathy took turns in the spotlight.

June Barn Wedding At County Line Orchard

Rachel and Brandon had a wonderful, but hot and toasty June wedding at County Line Orchard. The fans were going full blast inside the grain silo bridal suite as Krissy V. tended to make up with Cheri from Top Knot doing hair. Flowers With Jazz did the floral and Amplified Events provided the soundtrack.

I love to take bride portraits inside the grain silo at County Line Orchard. The texture of the wood mixed with that lighting was the perfect spot for photos of Rachel’s flowing wedding dress.

As I was doing portraits of the bride, second photographer Kerrie was capturing the guys getting ready. Soon it was time for our “peekaboo” shot outside the gran silo.

At this point with County Line Orchard such a large venue, we were able to do the groomsmen photos and bridesmaid photos at the same time. Then it was time for the outdoor ceremony at the big oak tree behind the apple orchards.

The outdoor, rustic wedding saw the tractors carrying guests to the ceremony site as well as the bride and her Dad as the last arrivals. The flower girl took a spill but was soon rescued by her mom. I love the look of disappointment on her face as she sits on the ground!

After the ceremony we took family photos and wedding party group pictures and then I took the newlyweds all around the CLO grounds. Then it was introductions and time to hit the dance floor.

The reception had rousing introductions as well as the bride doing a cake smash onto the groom. The bouquet toss was done from way up in the balcony and I took the newlyweds outside for a night time portrait near the north barn.
