Vilda and Brandon had a spectacular September day for their wedding at Meridian Banquets in Rolling Meadows, Illinois with photos at the Naperville Riverwalk.

We started out at the Renaissance Hotel in Schaumburg, Illinois with me covering bridal prep and second photographer Lauren with the groom and his crew.

As soon as the bride and groom were ready it was time for a series of “first looks” starting with the groom and then the bridesmaids with Dad later that day.

I’ve done plenty of first looks on wedding days and this was a good one with nice twirl of the bride courtesy of the groom. On the way to the bridesmaids reveal we did some portraits on the staircase at Renaissance Hotel in Schaumburg, Illinois.

The reception started early on the party bus as we made our way to the Naperville Riverwalk for beautiful, romantic wedding photos along with candid wedding photography as well.

After shooting some candid moments of the couple on the bench, Vilda announced that she wanted to jump from the bench. She is my kind of bride, let’s do it!! Soon we made our way back to the bus where we descended upon Meridian Banquet and Conference Center for the ceremony.

When we arrived back we snuck in a first look with Vilda’s Dad. Apparently Dad has not been reading too many wedding blogs on the internet as he was a bit puzzled by the whole “first look” thing. Once we got him in place, we had a fun reveal and then it was onto family photos and then the ceremony.

The ceremony room at Meridian Banquet and Conference Center had a glamorously lit curtain as a backdrop. After the ceremony we photographed the spectacular dessert table and then it was onto to introductions and the first dances.

I spent a wonderful day with Mary and Jeff and their family at The Allure for their September wedding. I say family because that is exactly whom their wedding party was and I could tell they were thrilled to have them as part of their big day.

I started out as usual in the bridal suite with bridal prep as second photographer Kerrie was with the guys up in the ballroom balcony where they prepped for the day. Schultz Florist did a wonderful job with the vibrantly purple flowers and once again Paris House of Bridal brought the dress. Make Up By Keria tended to all of the beauty.

For the bride and groom’s first look we cleared the ballroom of onlookers and Jeff and Mary had a wonderful moment together as she descended from the balcony to give him a tap on the shoulder. Their embrace was incredibly genuine and heartfelt. It felt great to capture it in images.

After our ballroom wedding pictures we stepped outside The Allure and took portraits around the various old buildings in the neighborhood as well as wedding party group shots. Then it was back inside for the ceremony.

Friends and family were all smiles as the bride and groom made their way into the ceremony area. Their very own “secret agent” kept the rings secure.

While I tended to family pictures, second photographer Kerrie took cocktail hour candids. The reception of course was decorated in purple and saw a singing performance from the couple’s daughter who serenaded them with Can’t Help Falling In Love, the Elvis song. The father of the bride was giving the thumbs up on the dance floor all night and a good time was had by all.
