Photo Walk Wrap Up

I'm so glad I applied and was accepted as a leader for the Crown Point division of The Worldwide Photo Walk sponsored by Kelby Training, Adorama Photo and others.  It was great to help new shooters with their questions and to chat and socialize with seasoned veterans.

At the end of this post, I will have links to view the rest of the Photo Walk images from the Crown Point division as well as a link to the national Flickr Group.

Thanks to all who attended.  After August 1st, I will have to pick a winning image.  Yikes, never had to do that before!!

The umbrella above was just sitting on the porch of the old jail where they filmed Public Enemies with Johnny Depp.  I have a sneaking suspicion one of the Photo Walkers owns this umbrella and set it down.  Whoever you are, thanks for one of my favorite shots of my walk!!

I think the image below is kind of creepy, but people seem to really like it.

The historic homes just south of the Square were part of our walk path.  Glad they had some tall trees as we were able to wait out a 10 minute downpour during the walk.

I only brought my 50-200mm Zoom lens for this walk, so no full on shots of the lovely homes.  Instead, I focused in tight for some grunge.

Even grungier yet, the Dillinger jail...
